The Buganda Society in Norway has held clan games as part of the effort to strengthen fraternity.

The competition was held at Frogner Park in Oslo, and the sports contested included: omweso, relay races, traditional wrestling, traditional dances, sack races, a cultural exhibition showcasing the costumes of women and men in Buganda, and teaching children about Buganda’s history.

The Kabaka’s representative in Scandinavia, Hon Nelson Mugenyi, was represented by Mr. Ssekitooleko Nelson and conveyed his message of thanks to the ‘Buganda society in Norway’ for supporting and uniting the society members in Norway, and cooperating with all Ugandans.
