The Kingdom’s Education Board has commended the work being done by the Ministry of Education, headed by Owek. Choltilda Nakate Kikomeko.
The commendation was made by the chairperson of the board, Mrs. Deborah Zawedde Ssetyabule, during a meeting held yesterday at Bulange. She urged fellow board members to closely follow the progress of activities within the Kingdom’s Ministry of Education and to fully support them — such as the school fees system and the management of operations in Kingdom schools and institutions.
The meeting was informed that under the new online fees payment system introduced by the Ministry, more than 1,300 students have already received support, and efforts are ongoing to encourage more parents and students to embrace this initiative.
The board passed several resolutions aimed at strengthening and advancing education, recognizing its crucial role in national development.
The Kingdom’s Minister for Education and Community Development, Owek. Choltilda Nakate Kikomeko, also attended the meeting.
