The Katikkiro, together with Hon. Joseph Kawuki, Minister for Local Government and Buganda Affairs, has returned home from the United Arab Emirates.
During his visit, he was able to meet with partners, including the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, and Natural Farm – coffee traders – and delivered a variety of messages to the Kabaka’s chiefs to enable them to serve His Majesty more effectively.
The Katikkiro also held discussions with the Dubai National Chamber of Commerce to promote business and kingdom partnerships.
During a courtesy visit, talks focused on strengthening trade ties with Buganda and leveraging tourism as a key source of income and cultural exchange.
The five-day visit concluded with the launch of the Buganda Bumu Arab and Asia Convention, where leaders, Kabaka’s subjects, and institutions came together to advance Buganda’s growth and international cooperation.
