The new leaders with the Katikkiro and their patron, Prince Wasajja
Prince David Kintu Wasajja, the Kabaka's Ministers, the Heads of Departments, and others graced the Buganda Youth Leadership Transformation Ceremony, held at Bulange, Mengo.

The Katikkiro urged the new leaders to remember that the King entrusted them with his era, and urged them to foster leadership among their fellow youths from the grassroots, combat drug abuse, and strengthen Buganda’s five core principles.
The newly elected leaders were sworn in to assume their responsibilities. The outgoing chairman is Mr. Ssejjengo Baker, and lawyer Derrick Kavuma is the new Chairman of the Buganda Youth Council.
