The Buganda Minister of Information and Publicity and Spokesperson of the Kingdom, Hon. Israel Kazibwe Kitooke, has received equipment (tablets) on behalf of the Kingdom from UBOS and said it will help the Kingdom to ensure that the statistics collected are prepared quickly and provide employment to the youth.
Honourable Kazibwe thanked UBOS, stating that if the partnership between the Kingdom and the agency continues to bear such fruits, the work will proceed smoothly.

The equipment was donated to other Kingdoms, including the Bunyoro Kingdom, the Rwenzururu Kingdom, various Government universities such as Makerere, Kyambogo, Busitema among others.
UBOS President Dr. Chris Mukiza said the equipment was distributed to speed up the statistics collection process, and urged the public to use social media to know the various statistics released by the agency he leads and those who need advice and guidance in relation to their operations to reach out so that they can be advised and in turn improve.
