The Buganda Kingdom has paid tribute to the life and legacy of the late Mw. Joseph Kabeenge, the father of Omuk. Fabian Kasi, Chief Executive Officer of Centenary Bank and Chairperson of the BBS Terefayina Board.

During a requiem mass held at Lubaga Cathedral, a message from Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga was delivered by his Second Deputy and Buganda’s Treasurer, Owek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa.

In the message, the Katikkiro praised Mw. Kabeenge for raising his children with strong values, the fruits of which are evident in the service and integrity displayed by his son, Fabian Kasi.

“The late Mw. Kabeenge nurtured his children with discipline and cultural values. His impact is clearly reflected in the character and national contribution of his son, Mr. Fabian Kasi,” Katikkiro Mayiga’s message read.

The late Kabeenge is remembered as a man of strong principles who dedicated his life to nurturing his household and guiding the moral character of his community.

In his tribute,Mr. Fabian Kasi spoke highly of his father’s integrity, mentorship, and sacrifice, expressing gratitude for the values of responsibility, patriotism, and humility he instilled.

The Mass was led by Kampala Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere, who commended the children of the deceased—especially Mr. Kasi—for standing by their father during his illness and caring for him with dignity until his passing.
